life update

Hi everyone, sorry the sudden disappearance here is the explanation that you guys deserve when we started this blog, we were a high school student let alone a junior in high school which was when COVID-19 pandemic started so we started posting when we were no longer doing school some of the posts were made during are senior year as well. we graduated on May 21st, 2021, so now we're able to pay more attention to this blog. What we've been up to is graduation parties finishing school and now that summer has started hanging out with friends and doing all this summer things that we love to do. Levi is now 5 years old I am now 19 years old we're going to do college online I am going to school for medical coding and billing you may be asking why I'm going to school for medical coding and billing and the reason is because I have lived dealing with medical bills and the medical field for pretty much my whole life. Another question you may be asking yourself is did we stop posting on this blog because of a medical reason and the answer is no. we stopped posting because senior year had just started. But back in may I did have a fall and Levi did perfect and did what I told him to do and also what he was trained to do which is to get up immediately and come to my side which he did and then I told him to go get my mom it just so happens though my mom was outside so he couldn't physically go in get her but he didn't look out the window to try and get her attention but she did not see him and I was still able to yell  to get her attention I was fine I did not have to go to the hospital but couple days later I did go to a doctor's appointment because I was giving headaches all the time I was told that I had a concussion I still do have it but this is my last week limiting screens and things so I'm hoping it helps. I don't know if I said this in the beginning, but the fall happened on May 23rd, 2021, this is also the 1st fall that was not a training exercise that happened since I've got Levi, I did have one other fall, but I did not land on the floor like I did this one.  you may have noticed that we have taken down some other posts that had videos in them and that is because I had switched the YouTube channel over to the same email as this blog. There is a little life update for you guys. Sorry we disappeared on you guys hopefully we can keep you guys more up to date and post more on this blog.

Bye for now from Kaelie and Levi

welcome

Hi, my name is Kaelie and I'm a twenty-year-old girl Who has physical disabilities there for I use a wheelchair to get around and because of that I can't pick things up off the floor so five years ago I got my service dog. His name is Levi he is a six-year-old red golden retriever. I live with my mom in Iowa in the USA. My parents are split up, so I go in between them with Levi, but we mainly stay with my mom. In my free time I like to be outside and watch YouTube, play with my dogs. Me and Levi try to train as much as possible. Bye for now from Kaelie and Levi

More about my life growing up

When I was a baby, my leg started to twitch uncontrollably and that was out of the norm for me or anyone else. My mom took me to a doctor and they looked me over and they said “Oh she’s fine”. My mom got the papers back from the appointment. When my mom read the papers, it said I had Cerebral Palsy. My mom was upset that they didn’t tell her to her face. From there, she started looking for hospitals for special needs that I could go to. She found Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. I started going there so they could help me with my Cerebral Palsy. Each Cerebral Palsy diagnosis is different. Mine is very different from other peoples because some other people can still walk and have control over their legs and I wasn’t able to have control over my legs' I have very little control over my legs and it makes very hard for me to walk without support and where I go, it takes a lot of my arms.  It makes it very hard for your hands to grip things. I was put in a stro...
